I. MISSION:
Mylan Inc. (Mylan) will be committed to protecting and preserving the environment and promoting environmental stewardship. Mylan will conduct self-assessments to ensure all business operations are performing to the highest level of environmental well being and recognition. Mylan will actively evaluate environmental programs to ensure continuity and to increase efficiencies.

Mylan will be committed to minimizing its environmental footprint and material
environmental impacts, while enhancing environmental stewardship throughout
the corporation. Mylan will ensure all use of natural resources and energy is
done responsibly and with emphasis on conservation.

d. Sustainability
Mylan will strive to develop, manufacture and market products that have minimal
adverse affects on the environment. This includes developing and continually
improving operations to effectively minimize waste, minimize energy consumption,
and prevent pollution to all areas of the environment. Mylan will be devoted to
purchasing and using materials that converse natural resouces and can be reused,
recycled and disposed with minimal impact to the environment.

e. Communication
Mylan will welcome and encourage open dialogue from product consumers on all
aspects of environmental operations. Mylan will increase transparency with regard
to environmental performance and progress and apprise the public of this information.

f. Education
Mylan personnel will receive rigorous training in environmental education and will be the key component of the environmental stewardship mindset. Mylan will encourage and develop the knowledge and skill set of all environmental professionals and will ensure they are able to perform environmental tasks in a responsible and efficient manner.

g. Leadership
Mylan will strive to be a leader in environmental performance. Mylan will be committed to leading the industry in environmentally responsible research and manufacturing processes and will place the environmental at the forefront of its business model.
